I must say that I am very happy surprised at the speed with which AKM you guys are building a MM network. I think it is spectacular ! Well done guys ! (and girls ?)

I also think the most important at the moment is to get good and fool proof calibration and testing. Perhaps calibration can even be done centrally through the internet by feed back ? But I suppose those aspects are already thought of.

For a possible Terschelling magnetometer I'd like to know what minimum circumstances are necesary for good functioning. Like temperature changes and distance to moving vehicles. There are quite a few tractors and large 4WD cars on Terschelling.
The local tourist office is setting up a web cam to show the weather, I hope they go 24 hours on line and perhaps I can hitch a ride with them. But their office is near the ferry mooring in the harbour so that location is no good.

Perhaps I can get the phone company to sponsor?
