Foto-Mosaik vom heutigen Display *PIC*

Hi,

hier noch ein Halo-Mosaik. Ich hoffe, dass es einigermaßen stimmt und die Lichtknoten in etwa an der richtigen Stelle sitzen.
Damit man mehr erkennen kann, hab ich die Bilder nachbearbeitet (Kontrast/Helligkeit). Das Video gibt das visuell wahrnehmbare noch am ehesten wieder.

Good photo there, I can see at the anthelic point what appears to be a piece of Wegeners arc on the left side of the display or could it be a cirrus streak? I have seen complete parhelic circle twice this year and some rare ones like infralateral arc, parry arc, and 120d parhelia.

Hallo Peter,

tolle Dokumentation. Wenn mich nicht alles täuscht, ist ein vollständiger umschriebener Halo zu erkennen. Ebenfalls ein vollständiger Horizontalkreis.
Wenn man zählt:

-22° Ring,
-22° Nebensonnen,
-umschriebener Halo,
-Horizontalkreis (durch die Sonne!!),

Außerdem ist wahrscheinlich noch die rechte 120° Nebensonne, sowie beide 150°-160° Liljequist's Nebensonnen (???).
Und hier gab es mal wieder nichts

In that halo display I can see a possible piece of wegeners arc at the anthelic point or could it be a cloud streak? I like the complete circumscribed halo and the complete parhelic circle.

bin auch der Meinung, daß das Wegeners Gegensonnenbogen ist. Cirrusstreifen wäre ein großer Zufall. Im Video war noch eine starke Aufhellung im Horizontalkreis zu sehen. War das eine 120°-Nebensonne oder die Gegensonne?

No problem I do appreciate and like your halo photos. I am halo observor from the u.s. and have been photographing halos since 2000 and have gotten many fine photographs with a digital camera. I have a website too but I need to finish revising the halo section. I have gotten a photo of a nice but rare sunvex parry arc.

The wegener arc now I can see it right at the anthelic point and has some spectral coloring which is common with wegener arcs. I have not seen wegener arcs yet but I know what they look like, sometimes you will find them in photos afterwards.

Hallo Mark,

hab' mir das Video nochmal angeschaut. Wenn wir die gleiche Aufhellung meinen, dann war das wohl eine 120°-Nebensonne. Würde jedenfalls von der Position auf dem Horizontalkreis gut hinkommen. Eine sichtbare Gegensonne im Video kann ich ausschließen, auch auf den nachbearbeiteten Bildern konnte ich da bisher nichts erkennen.

I hac enhanced your photos with photoshop 5 to bring out the arcs. What is your email address because I want to send you the photos so you can see the arc which shows up real nice when I enhanced it.
