As chance had it, the director of SEC appeared for the US House Science Committee Space Weather Hearing on 30 October to explain what SEC is doing with their tax money.
Coincidental ?

Interesting to me is his statement on the August 1972 event, that happened in between Apollo 16 and 17 moon missions.
