Regenbogen und Halo zusammen 10.04.2013

Hi Everyone,

I had the good fortune yesterday to be able to observe a rainbow and a left hand parhelion just after 8.00pm yesterday evening,

Both phenomena were visible simultaneously and I was able to take several photos over two or three minutes. The photos in the link are probably all taken less than a minute apart. I appreciate the images are nothing special on their own, but at least they prove that rainbows and sundogs can appear at the same time, even if only very infrequently. Unfortunately, I didn't have the presence of mind to take a series of images for a pano....perhaps next time!
