Danke!
Beste Grüße aus Schlägl von Karl

Re: RB- Methode in GIMP
Hello there Karl,
if you work directly with raw files, here is something that can help.
The BR method (and the opposite one, B-R method) can be used with a plugin of GIMP, named UFRaw (and can be batch automated).
You can find UFRaw here and it is a stand alone program, that can then be used without launching GIMP.
(Open your RAW file with it, with command "Open with" under Windows)
There is a screenshot of the settings I use (in B-R method, so gains in Blue and Red are exchanged with each other)

In this screenshot, you can see:
→The first tab (framed with blue) is for the image temperature and the green factor.
→The second tab (selected and framed with green) is where you can mix the color channels.
→The fourth tab (framed with red) you can "play" with the light histogram
→The sixth tab (not shown here) you can "play" with the color histogram
Those are the main adjustments you can do to render you colored halos in b&w.
This image used for this example comes from a topic on Alec Jones blog.
I use this plugin for 2011 at least, and with the batch files, it goes well to stack them then and apply filter such as unsharp mask.
Good luck and have fun with it.

Re: RB- Methode in GIMP
Dear Nicolas,
thank you very much for your help, the programm UFRaw works great with Canon RAW C2. I have tried with elder images that where taken with this file.
But my last images where taken with RAW C3 and its´s a pitty that the progarmm does not work with this type.
So I have to change the settings in my camera to RAW C2.
I hope there is an other opportunity for C3 too.
Best regards from Karl
