C2 Lapland effect ???

Hi All !

We're in Lapland now (Porjus, Sweden; me, Yann and his girlfriend Cindy) and we're wondering if the C2 at around 23 UT on 23 January might have any effect here; we couldn't detect a CME but it might have been too faint for the Soho cam to record.

It is snowing here now all day but both nights that we've been here now, there we're long clear spells, mainly the quiet oval visible and the hydrogen arc early at night. We missed the 2 - 3 hours of substorming monday morning because we were too tired of traveling for 27 hours ...

So, anyone any thoughts on the effect of the C2 ?
