Saisoneröffnung auch in Südfinnland

Hallo,

und prompt: geschlossene Wolkendecke, Nebel, Vollmond...alles nicht sehr gut. Trotzdem war ein deutlicher grüner Schimmer zu erkennen, und via SMS wusste ich dass 130 km weiter nördlich ein breiter Bogen sehr hoch am Himmel stand. Nun ja...das nächste Mal hoffentlich;)
Ach ja, was ist eigentlich tragischer...keine PLs, weil zu südlich gelegen, und klarer Himmel, oder PLs hier oben und Wolken?:PP

Hi,

Those little less than two hours that i saw the aurora, it really was very large all the time. Yet, not really active at all and certainly not bright.
Which all too bad, since the conditions otherwise would have been quite good for moody and nice looking aurora pics....
