Hallo!

Während der Ostseereise hatte ich damals auch Polarlichter gesehen. Beim lesen des Artikels musste ich an meine alten Bilder denken. Siehe Bericht hier https://forum.meteoros.de/viewtopic.php ... 05#p206605. Da sind auch bei einigen Bildern diese wellenartige "Dünen"-Strukturen als Wellenmuster im PL zu sehen. Ist hier das gemeint?

Finde ich sehr spannend.

FYI. I include link here that sums up all the auroral dune obsevations in Taivaanvahti.

There is observation(s) also from 7.10.2015. Where did your take your photos ? Might be able to compare it with locations on Taivaanvahti...

After we had visit the town Helsinki, the cruise ship was going to Stockholm. As far as I can remember, the position during this night should be here in N 59 41.492 E 023 11.005 and N 59 33.158 E 021 41.687. It was a beautiful vacation trip. :)
