tropical fireworks expected for the Netherlands (+2002NT7)

It looks like Dutch meteorolgists are expecting heavy lightning thunderstorms with hail also later today (Tuesday) for the eastern and southern parts of the Netherlands.
At the moment we are still having 30 Celsius daytime temperatures with no or little North or East winds.
I haven't checked patternsmyself so I cannot judge myself.

By the way: Asteroid 2002NT7 has been declared safe for the 2019 hitting incident, based on JPL NASA calculations of Austrian Amateur observations (well, 0,60 meter reflector, amateur?). Supposedly all real scientists are en route to a Berlin far a gathering that takes place this week.

Amateur class

Hi Jan!

Even the guys at Trebur (between Mainz an Frankfurt) declared themselfs to be amateur class astronomers.
And these guys had a 1m aperture so far and they just upgraded to a 1.2 meter scope.
Unfortunately there are still some technical problems (same as with SAM but on a larger scale).
The first light images were unbelievable, the best pictures of some deepsky objects I have ever seen, and these were taken without guiding control.
Ok, more to come...
