wer gerade auf der Südhalbkugel unterwegs ist, kann ja mal gucken:
https://spaceweather.com/archive.php?vi ... &year=2021For thousands of years, Comet 15P/Finlay has been dive-bombing Earth's orbit, leaving trails of dust on our planet's doorstep, yet, strangely, there has never been a meteor shower. Until now. On Sept. 27th, Earth hit a stream of debris from Comet Finlay, and a meteor shower was born.
http://www.cbat.eps.harvard.edu/iau/cbe ... 005049.txtThe predicted encounter is between approximately 2021 Oct. 6d22h00m-7d01h00m UT,
with the radiant located near R.A. = 256 deg, Decl. = -48 deg.
The Zenith Hourly Rates calculated by different
forecasters are 5-50 (Maslov) and 178 meteors/hr (Vaubaillon 2020, JIMO 48,
29) without correcting for the heightened cometary activity, and 30-100
(Sato) and 600-1100 meteors/hr (Ye) with heightened activity accounted for.
