Passing this link also here, did not found any other suitable category. In case anyone attempts to listen this small satellite at UHF frequency:
http://www.esa.int/Enabling_Support/Ope ... nd_OPS-SAT

launch is expected to happen in couple of days, quote:
"On 17 December, OPS-SAT will be launched into low-Earth orbit on a Soyuz rocket from Kourou, French Guiana, together with ESA’s Cheops exoplanet-tracker."

seems also that applications for telemetry decoding are available to Linux & GNU-radio environment. To my understanding also USB TV sticks (RTL-SDR) work also on GNU-radio side....

fyi, this info is visible on the ESA www pages, quote:
"Soyuz Flight VS23 / Launch postponed. The new target launch date will be announced as soon as possible."

See at www.esa.int.

Currently the GNU radio live DVD (nowadays called live SDR), seems it is not updated as a package anymore. I need to put Ubuntu and GNU radio together manually :-)
