UPDATE: A large flare on the sun has sent a significant shock wave our way. Even though the flare was on the limb, and we only get hit by the flank of the expected shock wave, our forecast is for maximum aurora, likely to be seen at mid-latitudes. The event is predicted to arrive at about 2 UT, Apr 23.
