Effects of a corotating interaction region associated with a recurrent solar coronal hole are beginning to be observed at the Earth. Periods of enhanced geomagnetic and auroral activity are expected over the next several hours, lasting for at least the next 24 to 48 hours.

There is a slight chance some dark-sky middle latitude regions may observe periods of enhanced auroral activity.

Solar Activity Update
C-class flare activity is possible from the regions presently visible. No significant energetic events are anticipated.
