POTENTIAL MAJOR SOLAR FLARE WARNING

SYNOPSIS:

An active region just behind the northeastern solar limb produced a weak
major class M5.8 solar flare at 06:29 UTC on 06 January. Based on available
x-ray imagery, this region appears to be relatively small at the present
time. Nevertheless, it has been x-ray active during the last 24 hours and may
produce additional minor and possibly another isolated major M-class flare.

Region 536, which was responsible for producing the long-duration major
class M6.9 event of 05 January is continuing to mature. It is nearing the
central solar meridian and may be capable of producing another isolated major
solar (possible proton) flare during the next several days.

Anbei noch das aktuelle Bild mit den Sunspot 536 unten links zum Vergleich einer der Giganten vom 28.10.2003, da fehlt ja nicht mehr so wirklich viel (relativ gesehen *g)
Ich schätz mal 536 hat mittlerweile eine Größe 1000-1200 millionths (grob geschätzt)
