Hier der offizielle Beobachtungsaufruf der IOTA für den Durchgang eines 8.6 mag hellen Sterns durch die Saturnringe am 15. November!

Occultation of TYC 1343-1615-1 by the Ring System of Saturn

on the morning of the 15th of November 2003

In the morning hours (for Europe) of the 15th of November, 2003 the ring system of Saturn will pass in front or the star TYC 1343-1615-1. That is the same star, which is occulted by Titan a day earlier. For Europe, the situation is partly in twilight, but for most part of central and western Europe the beginning can be easily seen.

This is an excellent opportunity for all people owning fast video
cameras such as Mintron, Toucam, Quickcam and other CAMS. Including the Iota Occultation Camera.....
