ehm,

Am I right in concluding that the steep rise in >10MeV protons as of 18UT means that a proton event is in progress that is correlated to the X-flare that just happened from 484.
I mean, the >10MeV level has nothing to do with the small shock just detected near earth by ACE (density 3 particles)m or has it ?
