Last night the Dutch public TV news had an item on the "huge explosions" on the sun.
Together with the Soho C3 animation and archive aurora film footage from U. of Alaska at Fairbanks.
The weather forecaster said that on Saturday night clouds would prevent us from seeing aurora but that on Sunday evening the chances on seeing aurora would be good ...
How low can they go ?

Hi Jan,
Yes, i saw it too!
How low they can go? They go as low as the rest of the media.
The aurora world is a very small world.......
Maybe todays flares will bring us some nice displays, let's hope so!
