There was a bright Parry arc photographed at Kuusamo, on the morning at 14th October 2009.

I would like also to see this kind intense halos... I was not the lucky one to witness the sight....

PS: Here in southern Finland temperatures are occasionally going under zero degrees C. No hope for ground level diamond dust displays yet...

Hey Timo,

I don't know if there are any ski resorts in your area but if there are any go there because the snow guns make the best halos you can get. For your light source use your car's headlights or get you a super intense spot light like Marko has.

Got my fourth elliptical halo this year.
