Observed and photographed elliptical halo today

I have photogeaphed lots of rare halos but today I photographed an ellipitical halo for the first time. I have read that most observations of these oval halos are in Finland but my observation here in the U.S. might be the first. I got a few pics of it as well.

congratulation to these great observation! Can you discribe the phenomenon (clouds, diameter, duration and so on)? I'm very prying

The cloud that produced the halo was a small piece of cirrus and thats one of the reasons why it was shortlived for only a couple of minutes. The diameter of the ellipse I am not sure of I do not know how wide the ellipse was because they can range of many different sizes.
