Are dust particles from the Sahara small enough to cause this phenomena?

An airmass with a swathe of saharan dust is expected to cross a large part of Europe from northwest Africa, with the greatest concentration for the UK and Germany appearing to be greatest on Wednesday 6th March. Some rain is expected in the UK on Wednesday so we could get some fallout on that day. Just wondering if it might be worth flagging up and having a look if the lower cloud clears here that is, especially if folks in Germany have better skies.
