On the 5:th of January we had a fin halo day here in Sweden.
I show to images one shot with a compact camera at sunrice and one shot with my digital camera later on the day.
The image shot with the digital camera show faint reflected lowitz arcs.

Nice catch there Mats,
That second photo is my favorite with its reflected lowitz arcs. Those red parhelia are beautiful I got an upper tangent arc that was fiercely red last year during a huge display that featured wegener arcs. Since that was diamond dust I would like to give you a little word of advice though you may have not asked for none but if you have a portable 10,000,000 candle power spotlight, turn it on at night if you are near a ski resort and you will get the best halo show in the world.
Regards from USA,
Michael
