Hallo, hute abend gegen 18.40 wurde in der Wische (nordöstlich Stendal) eine helle Leuchterscheinung beobachtet. Kann das jemand bestätigen?

Hallo,
das passt zu meiner Beobachtung!
Habe gestern abend um 18:34 Uhr von Hannover aus Richtung Nord bis Nordost ebenfalls einen Meteor beobachten können. Sah ein bisschen aus wie eine Silvesterrakete und zog von West nach Ost über den Himmel, war für wenige Sekunden sichtbar und zerfiel dann in mehrere Teile, bevor er erlosch.

End Alt 6 deg, Az 39 deg
The map above has been updated with this, along with Björns information and more Danish observations.
My camera did not register anything, which means that the fireball was below 22 deg Alt, seen from Copenhagen.

Hallo, habe es nun endlich auch mal geschafft mich anzumelden. Die FK ist auch in der Altmark gesichtet wurden. Gerade war ein Pressevertreter bei mir, den ich aber davon abbringen konnte, was in die Volksstimme zu setzten. Er hatte Kontakt zu einer Frau aus Immekath, (bei Klötze), die die FK gesehen hatte und auch am nächsten Tag die passenden Steine dazu auf ihrer Schafweide. Natürlich hat man die Polizei informiert, und die kripo hat eine Probe mitgenommen. Handelt sich aber, wie nicht anders zu erwarten um irdisches Material, eine Art Sandsteinkonglomerat,
auch wenns Tags davor noch nicht dort gelegen haben soll.
Meine Kamera war noch nicht aktiv, da der Mond noch im Gesichtsfeld stand.

With the help of Mark's Vechta image and visual observations, we are trying to narrow in a potential fall-out area. Note the map above has been updated with more observations.
A re-examination of the Vechta image has lead to the following directions:
Start: Az=39.4 deg Alt=21.1 deg
End: Az=40.2 deg Alt=7.4 deg
Uncertainty is estimated to 0.2 degrees
The Camera location is assumed at: Long: 8.289 E Lat: +52.731
Does this sound reasonable to you, Mark?
It is not clear to me what the time difference is between the three streaks visible in the image, although you explained a similar image in September. Can one for assume a duration of 1.0 sec between the lower end of each streak, so that the total duration becomes about 2.2 seconds?

The time difference between the streaks is unsure. There are two different time intervalls:
First, the camera changes internal exposure time from 25fps at day down to 1 Frame every 2.5sec at dark sky. I don't know the cameras exposure time during the fireball. It was obviously shorter than 1fps, because the streak is interrupted. If the camera operates in maximum frame integration mode the live image changes only every 2.5sec.
Second, the software grabs an image from the live video stream every 1 second. The software generates a maximum image of all grabbed frames during 20s. This is the image above. The maximum image shows the brightest pixels of all grabbed frames during 20s.
The 1sec time intervall and the exposure time intervall are independent from each other and not synchronized. This is why it is not possible to measure the speed of the meteor from the image, especially because the exposure time of the camera is unknown. It is also possible that the very beginning and the end of the fireball is not visible on the image.
