interessant, dass aus einer fleckenlosen aktiven Region ein B4-Flare einen doch recht schicken CME (denke mal full-halo) bringt.

A halo/partial halo CME was observed with the LASCO coronagraphs
onboard SOHO on April 26th at 15:08UT (LASCO C2). It was associated with
a nearly B4 class flare occuring in a spotless active region located
approximately 10E 10N, at the time of the eruption (peak at 14:08 UT).
An EIT wave was also observed linked to this event. The CME propagated
mostly eastward with an estimated velocity of 466 km/s (CACtus
detection).

At the moment, we have quiet conditions: no flares, no geomagnetic
disturbances. The (partial) halo CME with an estimated speed of around
500 km/s when it left the sun on April 26 is expected to arrive on April
30. Active conditions are possible.

Jo klar, möglich ist vieles

Wenn ich mir das EPAM so anschaue sehe ich da ziemlich genau Nichts, was auf einen CME schließen läßt.

Aber egal wie, wenn es denn so kommt wie die Daten des Flare und das C3 erwarten lassen, sollte wohl irgendwie eine Wirkung erkennbar werden.

Diese sollte aber auf Grund der geringen Initialspeed auch nicht so deutlich sein. Eher wird sich wohl eine Änderung in der Dichte und der IMF-Ausrichtung zeigen.

In wie weit das dann noch mit den aktuellen CH's korreliert, bzw. auseinander zu halten ist, muss sich zeigen.

PL hier schließe ich aber eher aus. Ich hoffe dass ich irre

Moin moin,

gestern gegen 15UT isser wohl "eingeschlagen", hat aber hier IMHO schon nicht mehr bis zum Dunkelwerden durchgehalten. War ja auch größtenteils mehr oder weniger bewölkt.

PS: Sudanreise so leidlich überlebt, war stressig, heiß und trocken. Montezuma hatte auch seine Rache!

na, das könnte ja noch mal interessant werden.

Aber immerhin, Südliches Bz seit ~19:30 UT. Dichte ist mit knapp 10 auch nicht schlecht, Speed mit 450 ... na ja, 500+ wären besser

Wie gesagt, wohl wieder mal knapp unter brauchbaren Bedingungen.

Die MM beginnen gerade zu reagieren.

Ein K5 sollte drin sein, für PL reichts wohl nicht hier, mit vieeel Glück EVTL.

Kommt halt drauf an, wie lange die Bedingungen so bleiben. Aber viel Zeit bleibt ja eh nicht, bei den nun eher kürzeren Nächten.

Na, immerhin mal wieder ein Lebenszeichen im Spaceweather!
