Short bright display of aurora over Stockolm. 2005-12-11

Hi.

I saw a very nice aurora display over Stockholm this evening.
It was a very short display. Max 15 minutes.

Perhaps best to keep a watching eye tonigth for more outbreaks.

Hi Mats,
congrats. At what time have you seen the aurora? I just have looked on the time elapse movie from my automatic color Mintron camera. No aurora between 18:10 MEZ an now here in Switzerland.

Hi Mark.

It was pure luck that I saw this display. I had to do some shopping and went out and saw the aurora. The time was 20 minutes past 18 lokal time 17:20 UT. I ran after my camera but the display was almost over when I had the camera in place. Got one not so good image. The display reached about 60 degrees over the horizon.

Now nothing can bee seen.
