Hi. Yesterday I saw a good halo display with lot of arcs. Among them was my first sighting of the rare helic arc. A very happy treat for a halo freak. There was also a glimpse of a Wegener arc. On the 5:th of January we had a fin halo day here in Sweden. I show to images one shot with a compact camera at sunrice and one shot with my digital camera later on the day. Thank you. The pollen we have here at the moment is pine (kiefer).
Everything here is covered with this yellow dust. So both the corona images is due to to pine.

I have heard a lot of sneezing here, maybe its yours.

Hi. I saw a nice halo display up in Dalarna Sweden with 22 and 46 deegre halo with supralateral arc and upper tangential arc. The halo was more colourful than the images show. I saw a very nice aurora display over Stockholm this evening.
It was a very short display. Max 15 minutes.

Perhaps best to keep a watching eye tonigth for more outbreaks.
